Jennifer grew up around caregivers. From a young age, Jennifer began volunteering at the rural community hospital in Hawthorne where her father was a hospital administrator. So when it came time to choose a career, nursing seemed a natural fit.

Amber is both a big picture thinker and a detail person, skills she developed while working as a geographic mapper. She now puts those skills to use addressing patients’ needs as she works alongside SNG physicians as a Certified Physician Assistant. 

Wren Ballard, MSN, APN, CNRN, RNFA

A natural collaborator with a passion for people, Wren always knew that she wanted to work in the medical field. Her determination to care for others, coupled with innate talent, has enabled her to excel as a registered nurse and earn a Master of Science degree in nursing.

Tina Canner-Peterson, MS, APN, CNRN, RNFA

Tina likes a challenge. She began her nursing career with ten years in intensive care where she discovered her affinity for difficult, challenging cases, the neuro cases in particular.

As a Sierra Neurosurgery Group nurse, Tina is able to offer patients continuity of care seeing them pre- and post-op. She constantly strives to increase her patient’s comfort by both managing their pain and their uncertainty, taking the time to explain procedures and answer their questions.
