Dr. Leppla to speak on spinal stenosis Sept. 16

Reno, NV–David Leppla, MD of Sierra Neurosurgery Group will give a free educational lecture on lumbar spinal stenosis, September 16, 3-4 pm at Renown's Mack Auditorium. Dr. Leppla will explain the degenerative condition and discuss treatment options. The lecture is free, but attendees are asked to RSVP to 982.5757. 

Spinal stenosis is a narrowing inside the spinal canal, usually a result of age and spine degeneration. The lack of space puts pressure on spinal nerves, causing irritation and inflammation. Spinal stenosis usually causes back pain and leg pain that comes and goes with activities, such as walking.
