Sierra Neurosurgery marks 30th year

Reno, NV–This year marks the 30th anniversary of Sierra Neurosurgery Group. Founded in 1980 by Dr. William Dawson and Dr. Joseph Walker, SNG has been setting the standard for spine and brain care in Northern Nevada and northeastern California for three decades.

From its small beginnings, SNG now boasts nine Board Certified neurosurgeons supported by two nurse practitioners, a physician assistant and a staff of over 40. Specialties include complex spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery for brain and spine tumors and artificial disc replacement.

Sierra Neurosurgery Group continues to be the region’s largest and longest standing neurosurgical practice. The group is committed to patient-focused care tailored to the individual.
