Dr. Deven Khosla of Reno's Sierra Neurosurgery Group will be one of the featured speakers at the Neuro, Cardiac & More: 7th Annual Updates in Emergency Medicine. The conference will be held Monday, February 4 and Tuesday, February 5 at the PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn in Olympic Valley, California.
The conference, sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians, offers physician attendees continuing medical education credit through participation in a variety of educational lectures.
Neurosurgical Emergencies is the title of Dr. Khosla's lecture. Topics covered will include assessment and treatment of the head injured patient, review of head injury guidelines, spinal cord injury assessment, initial management, treatment guidelines and new research.

Dr. Khosla has been a practicing neurosurgeon for thirteen years. He attended Loyola University's Stritch School of Medicine and received Board Certification through the America Board of Neurological Surgeons in 2006. He is currently in practice at Sierra Neurosurgery Group in Reno, Nevada.
