Reno, NV – Deven Khosla, MD of Reno's Sierra Neurosurgery Group has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada.
The appointment reflects Dr. Khosla's ongoing commitment to enhancing neurosurgical practices through education and outreach. Dr. Khosla will work directly with medical students during their surgical rotations. His areas of specialized expertise include minimally invasive techniques, artificial disc replacement and the treatment of complex spine deformities.
"I'm very excited to be working with the UNR medical students,” Dr. Khosla stated, “When I was in medical school, working with doctors in the field was one of the most valuable experiences I had. I hope I can offer them a valuable perspective."
Earlier this year, Dr. Khosla was a featured lecturer at "Neuro, Cardiac & More: 7th Annual Updates in Emergency Medicine" sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Khosla joined Sierra Neurosurgery Group in 2001.
