Reno, NV – Fallon residents no longer have to travel far from home for exceptional spine and brain care. Starting June 2, 2008, David C. Leppla, M.D. of Reno's Sierra Neurosurgery Group will see patients in Fallon, Nevada, a rural community located 65 miles west of Reno. Dr. Leppla’s monthly outreach clinic marks the first time a Board Certified Neurosurgeon has set up a patient care center in the community of 8,500 residents.

Dr. Leppla is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and Fellowship Trained in Spine. His specialties include the treatment of complex spine problems including the use of Kyphoplasty, an innovative treatment that inflates degenerating vertebrae with a small balloon to return them to a more normal height and shape.
