eam Brain Power helped make wishes come true for seriously ill children throughout Northern Nevada March 1, 2008 at Reno’s National Bowling Stadium. About a dozen Sierra Neurosurgery Group employees and their family members participated in the Make-A-Wish Foundation Bowl for Wishes event raising $600.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting their biggest wishes. With the support of volunteer groups like Team Brian Power, Make-A-Wish is able to grant a child’s wish every 40 minutes. A total of 350 bowlers participated in the Reno event raising nearly $11,000 for the Northern Nevada branch of the national charity.
Team Brain Power is a revolving committee of Sierra Neurosurgery Group employees committed to creating the most rewarding work environment possible. Brain Power sponsored activities include charitable work, social functions and continuing education.
