Amber is both a big picture thinker and a detail person, skills she developed while working as a geographic mapper. She now puts those skills to use addressing patients’ needs as she works alongside SNG physicians as a Certified Physician Assistant. 

Recognizing the value of a broad understanding of illness and disease, Amber began her healthcare career as a Physician Assistant in internal medicine before pursuing a specialty in neurosurgery. At Sierra Neurosurgery Group she has found a practice that offers her the challenge of specialized medicine, as well as the satisfaction of being able to follow patients both before and after their surgery.

When she's not caring for patients, Amber enjoys exploring the Truckee Meadows on foot, bike and skis with her husband Scott and toddler son Shane. She joined Sierra Neurosurgery Group in 2009.
