After a consultation with a Pain Management Specialist, they may recommend that you are a candidate for a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS). This is an implantable device which is designed to treat chronic, ongoing pain. In order to receive this device, you must first attend an educational class to learn how SCS works and complete a trial for effectiveness.
