DANTE F. VACCA, MD, FAANS

NEUROSURGEON

At the growing Reno practice, Dr. Vacca found a group of neurosurgeons with a wide range of surgical talents and an environment where collaboration came naturally.

Dr. Vacca’s interests include treatment of cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors and spine surgery. He is one of the few neurosurgeons who does motor mapping, a procedure done during brain tumor surgery to ensure the most accurate tumor resection while minimizing risk of paralysis.

The field of neurosurgery is exciting for Dr. Vacca both for what it can accomplish for his patients today and its potential to do even more for them tomorrow.

Dr. Vacca completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada.
