Team Brain Power rallied community support and 25 team members, including a breast cancer survivor, to Race for the Cure and commemorate the event’s 25th anniversary Sunday, October 7.

Team Brain Power joined more than 4,000 other participants to raise $77,922 for the fight against breast cancer at this year’s Komen Northern Nevada Race for the Cure.

The Race for the Cure is the global leader in 5k runs/fitness walks to raise breast cancer funds and awareness. It celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease while providing hope for the future.

Team Brain Power is a rotating committee dedicated to making Sierra Neurosurgery Group the best possible place to work through staff social activities, community outreach and employee recognition programs. As the region’s oldest and largest continuously operating group of neurosurgeons, Sierra Neurosurgery has provided exceptional spine and brain care in northern Nevada and California for nearly 30 years.
