Reno, NV-On October 4, 2008, Team Brain Power joined 4,800 other race participants and raced for a cure to breast cancer. The twelve-person Brain Power Team helped raise over $130,000 making the 10th anniversary of the Reno Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure the most successful yet.

Sierra Neurosurgery Group participants included Leesa Genco, Dyana Selby-Davis, Ginny Crawford, Diane Brevak, Carrie Kuo, Rochelle Shipman, Cristi Maciel, Erin Lassen, Patty Teixiera, Matt O’Sullivan, Marcey Grant, Wren Ballard and her daughter Jordan Ballard

The Race for the Cure is the global leader in 5k runs/fitness walks to raise breast cancer funds and awareness. It celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease while providing hope for the future.
