Reno, NV – Dr. Christopher Demers will discuss sports concussion management with Truckee area physicians, RNs, NPs and PAs on Tuesday, September 11. The talk will be held at Tahoe Forest Hospital, Eskridge Conference Room.

During his talk, Dr. Demers will discuss the latest research regarding assessment, treatment and management of concussions and summarize guidelines for how to make return to play decisions. He will also provide attendees with an on-field pocket guide to assessing head and spine trauma.

Attendees will receive CME credit.

Dr. Demers obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and neurosurgical residency at Brown University Alpert Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Dr. Demers passed his American Board of Neurological Surgery written examination and is Board eligible. He has presented his work at national meetings and has published multiple original research articles and abstracts.
