Sierra Neurosurgery Group is currently in need of an Experienced Surgery Coder.
This individual must be a self-starter, self motivated and able to code and bill complex neurosurgical surgeries. CPC or CCSP certification is preferred. Recent Work Experience required.
Summary: Evaluates, codes and monitors physician’s professional coding of operative reports, evaluation and management (E&M) and other CPT-4 procedural codes for accuracy. Interprets and analyzes OP report and medical record documentation. Applies correct coding principles as defined by regulatory agencies and standards of ethical coding.
