During Physician Assistant Week, we would like to recognize and celebrate our newest Sierra Neurosurgery Group provider, Amber Sands PA-C who has joined our expanding Interventional Pain Management team. What’s great is that Amber was a part of the SNG family many years ago and has finally made her way “back to her roots.” Her well-rounded medical background which includes Primary Care and Neurosurgery is a true asset to our Pain practice along with her genuinely caring bedside manner.
In her new role, Amber likes the fact that she can “get to know patients extremely well and form strong, trusting relationships.” These relationships become a team approach with patients to create a “well thought-out, structured and useful care plan.”
Mostly, she enjoys working in pain management because, “it’s unique. I truly believe you get to make a difference in patients’ lives. My goal is to listen and care for each patient as an individual, so I can help address their distinct needs.”
We are fortunate to welcome Amber back on our team at Sierra Neurosurgery Group. Her comforting nature and warm smile has already made an incredible impact.
