Sierra Neurosurgery Group (Reno, Nev.). Sierra Neurosurgery was established in 1980 by William Dawson, Jr., MD, and Joseph Walker, MD, FAANS. Today, the practice performs over 3,000 procedures each year and includes a total of nine spine surgeons and two pain management physicians. Spine procedures performed by the practice’s surgeons include ALIF, anterior cervical corpectomy, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, disc replacement, cervical posterior foraminotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy, lumbar corpectomy, lumbar disc microsurgery and PLIF.
